2009 Aurora and Telly Awards
NewGroup Media continues to be recognized for
their outstanding video productions, earning three International
Aurora Awards and five International Telly Awards for 2009.
“Renaissance Project,” a fundraising video for the
Archdiocese of San Francisco, won the Aurora Award Platinum Best
of Show and the top ranking Telly award.
A fundraising video for St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in
San Francisco titled "Restoring the Pipe Organ" also
won two awards: the Aurora Gold Award and another top ranking
Telly.
Other award winners include undergraduate admissions recruiting
programs for the University of New Orleans and Drury University,
along with two image pieces highlighting the Four Bands Community
Fund in South Dakota and New England based artist Sylvia Nicolas.
The Aurora Awards is an international competition recognizing
excellence in film and video focusing on non-national commercials,
regional or special interest entertainment and corporate sponsored
film and video. The Telly Awards honors the very best in local,
regional, cable television commercials and programs, as well as
excellent film and video productions.
