NGM Goes Cross-Country,
Brings Home Awards
NewGroup Media continues to be recognized for their outstanding
video productions, earning numerous awards in major international
competitions once again.
Recorded on location in the Central Umbria region of Italy and
North Beach in San Francisco, California, Porziuncola Nouva,
a historical and tour video focusing on the Porziuncola replica
at the National Shrine of Saint Francis of Assisi in San Francisco
was awarded the top Telly Award for History/Biography and the
International Aurora Award for Visitors Center Presentation.
A one-hour broadcast documentary, Interrupted Lives: Catholic
Sisters Under European Communism, was awarded the Gabriel
Award for National Release: Religion. The program was shot on
location in the United States as well as Poland, Hungary, Slovakia,
Romania and Ukraine.
