NewGroup Media and the University of Notre Dame Public Affairs and Communication division win two awards for video production at this year's CASE Circle of Excellence Awards.

A half-time television commercial received the gold medal. The spot featuring Rev. Edward A. Malloy, University president, was produced by South Bend-based NewGroup Media in association with Julie Flory, assistant director of Notre Dame's news and information office.
Flory and NewGroup also collaborated on the production of a video titled "Word of Life,” which received a silver medal in the general informational video features category. It provided a historical overview of the mosaic on the south side of the Hesburgh Library, officially titled "Word of Life” and more popularly known as "Touchdown Jesus.”

CASE is the largest international association of education institutions, serving more than 3,200 universities, colleges, schools and related organizations in 45 countries. It is the leading resource for professional development, information and standards in the fields of education, fund raising, communications and alumni relations. This year's Circle of Excellence Awards Program received more than 3,100 entries in 40 categories that cover the scope of institutional advancement.
